• Studie citlivosti magnetických satelitních dat v časové oblasti na hloubkové (1-D) rozložení vodivosti v plášti
  Study of sensitivity of magnetic satellite data to 1-D distribution of conductivity in the mantle in the time domain
  

  Úkolem studenta bude pomocí programů pro řešení úlohy EM indukce v časové oblasti, vyvinutých na naší katedře, prozkoumat citlivost syntetických a reálných satelitních dat na hloubkové rozložení vodivosti v plášti.

• Interaktivní zpracování magnetických satelitních dat pomocí programu Mathematica
  Interactive processing of magnetic satellite data using Mathematica software
  

  Fyzikálně jednodušší, ale programátorsky náročnější úkol bude spočívat ve vytvoření uživatelsky příjemného rozhraní v programu Mathematica, které umožní interaktivní práci s magnetickými daty ze satelitů CHAMP a Oersted. Data jsou poskytována ve formátu CDF. Program by dále měl umět pracovat s modelem geomagnetického pole CM3e, terý je napsán v jazyce Fortran.
