The stay was mainly focussed on developing and testing codes to model the viscoelastic deformation in a general 3-dimensional earth model. Besides the role of lateral viscosity variations on the postglacial uplift, effects of a highly compressible transition zone were discussed and tested. Possibilities of future co-operation, including exchange of young researchers and common supervision of PhD students, were considered.
