Magnetic Signatures of Barotropic and Baroclinic Flows in Swarm Data
Project Description:
We aim to predict magnetic signals of tidally and atmospherically forced
ocean flows along the trajectories of Swarm satellites. In the next step,
these signatures will be detected and extracted from Swarm data. Finally,
we plan to assimilate Swarm magnetic data to provide improved ocean flow
models.
