The workshop will be held at Hotel Jezerka, near Seč Lake in Central Bohemia, Czech Republic.
The conference venue is located near the city of Pardubice (33 km), which has excellent rail connections to Prague. Pardubice can be easily reached by train (idos.cz, cd.cz), with direct services departing from Prague Main Station (Praha hlavní nádraží) approximately every 20 minutes. Please note that seat reservations are compulsory on some trains; these are available free of charge when tickets are purchased online. The journey from Prague Airport to Pardubice takes approximately 2 hours.
Bus transportation will be arranged from Pardubice Main Station (Pardubice hlavní nádraží) to the conference hotel on Sunday afternoon and from the hotel back to Pardubice on Friday morning.
On Sunday, student volunteers wearing ALW T-shirts will be waiting at or in front of Pardubice Main Station to help participants find the appropriate shuttle bus. A minibus will depart from Pardubice Main Station at 13:00, followed by coach departures at 15:15, 17:00 and 19:00. A final minibus will depart at 21:00.
On Friday, buses from the conference hotel to Pardubice Main Station will depart at 6:45, 8:00 and 10:00.
As an alternative to the conference shuttle service, participants may use public transport buses from Pardubice Main Station (Pardubice hlavní nádraží) to the Seč bus stop (Seč, náměstí, district Chrudim). Connections can be found at idos.cz. On Sundays, buses depart at 12:28, 13:58, 15:28 and 18:28, with a journey time of approximately 1 hour. From the Seč bus stop, Hotel Jezerka is approximately a one-hour walk; however, we will be happy to pick you up in Seč by car.
